UL Student Life is hiring a Senior Coordinator - Clubs & Societies at UL Student Life. This is a permanent role based at the new state-of-the-art Student Centre at University of Limerick, working 35 hours per week.

Role Purpose:
The Senior Coordinator – Clubs & Societies reports to and supports the Head of Student Engagement in the strategic development and effective delivery of the Clubs & Societies function. The role includes line management responsibility for the Clubs & Societies staff team and provides leadership and oversight across a diverse network of 77 student-led Clubs & Societies, supported by more than 900 volunteer committee members.
The Senior Coordinator leads the Clubs & Societies Department in providing high-quality support, services, guidance and training to volunteer committees and their wider memberships. This includes ensuring the effective implementation of established policies and procedures across key areas including health and safety, insurance, legal and regulatory requirements, grievance processes and financial management.
The role also supports and works within the student-led governance structures for Clubs & Societies, including the Clubs & Societies Council and Clubs & Societies Executive, ensuring volunteers are supported to participate effectively in the governance and development of Clubs & Societies.
The Senior Coordinator will also oversee the effective use of the bespoke UL Wolves platform, which supports the administration, governance and day-to-day operation of Clubs & Societies and enables committees and the Department to deliver services and supports to their members.
This is a dynamic and varied leadership role requiring an energetic, collaborative and highly organised professional with the ability to support staff and student volunteers while contributing to the continued development of a vibrant student community.

These is a permanent position with UL Student Life, 35 core office hours per week, based at the Student Centre, University of Limerick.
A salary scale of €47,000-€55,000 per annum depending on experience, will apply to the successful candidate and a probationary period.
