UL Student Life is hiring for a Financial Controller at UL Student Life. This is a permanent role based at the new state-of-the-art Student Centre at University of Limerick, working 35 hours per week.
UL Student Life is the representative body for over 19,000 students at the University of Limerick.
Role Purpose:
The Financial Controller is responsible for leading and delivering the full finance function of UL Student Life and subsidiaries.
As the organisation's senior financial professional, the Financial Controller provides strategic financial leadership while also managing and delivering all operational finance activities. The role supports effective decision-making by the General
Manager, Senior Management Team (SMT), and Board through the provision of accurate financial information, analysis, forecasting, and advice.
The Financial Controller is responsible for ensuring financial sustainability, maintaining strong financial controls and governance arrangements, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, and supporting the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives.
As a member of the SMT, the Financial Controller contributes to organisational planning, risk management and decision-making beyond the finance function.

Working at UL Student Life:
These is a permanent position with UL Student Life, 35 core office hours per week, based at the Student Centre, University of Limerick.
A salary scale of €65,000 to €75,000 per annum depending on experience, will apply to the successful candidate and a probationary period.
