We have many different ways that we support students’ interests. There is medical charity work including fund-raising and health promotion activities. We have guest speakers on a variety of topics. There are also social nights such as table quizzes and bowling nights, and weekly tag rugby and soccer to allow students to relieve stress and meet students from other colleges.
We also run an annual Teddy Bear Hospital event which helps alleviate childhood anxiety about the medical environment, its procedures, and its professionals. Finally, every year in February our society organises the Annual Medical Ball - a formal black-tie event which helps to raise funds for charity.
We are constantly looking for new ways to develop and support our members’ interests and we are always looking for enthusiastic people who are passionate about health and medicine. If you are interested in joining, please click the join button at the top of the page.
