UL Islamic Society (ISOC) invites people of all faiths and none to engage in dialogue and gain some insights into the true teachings of Islam.

The ISOC is here to Serve, Represent and Unite Muslim students in UL and aims to promote understanding between Muslims and people of other beliefs on campus.

UL ISOC maintains a prayer room beside the Courtyard where we perform daily congregational prayers. The prayer room is open during the daytime for everyone, you can just walk in during the day. Friday prayers are held every week also.

We are proud to announce UL ISOC's affiliation with the Federation of Student Islamic Societies Ireland (FOSIS)! FOSIS is a national umbrella organisation aimed at supporting and representing Islamic societies in colleges and universities all over the country. The ISOCs carry out incredible work on their campuses - from charitable work for those in need all around the world, to teaching about the Islamic faith on their campuses and beyond.

We look forward to collaborating with the other ISOCs across the country to organise exciting and beneficial activities for our members. Join our society to participate in our Islamic and inter-faith talks & discussion groups, trips and activities, Islamic classes and community engagement throughout the year!
