Refunds and Returns Policy
Change of Mind
As per the Consumer Rights Directive, customers have the right to change their mind within 14 days of receiving their purchase. Once you have notified UL Student Life, via email to studentcentre@ul.ie that you have changed your mind, you have 14 days to return your purchase. Once the purchase is returned, in a saleable condition, an exchange or refund will be processed. Exchanges or refunds cannot be processed until the purchase has been returned.
Unfortunately, Witness Ireland tours cannot be refunded due to the nature of these events. UL Student Life will be happy to exchange your ticket for a future event of equal price. Tickets will need to be returned to the Information and Services desk in the UL Student Life reception and the new tour date will be stamped by a member of our team.
UL Student Life will not cover the cost of postage for unwanted purchases to be returned to us. However in the event of an exchange, we will not charge postage for the replacement product, and in the event of a refund, the standard delivery fee i.e. the postage cost paid when making the purchase, will be refunded.
Custom designed products such as Class Hoodies, Clubs and Societies Merchandise are exempt from Change of Mind and all sales are final.
If the product is not returned to us in a saleable condition, an exchange or refund cannot be processed.
Faulty Goods
UL Student Life does not accept responsibility for damages caused while a purchase is in transit. If a purchase arrives with a fault, which is caused by transit, then the customer must notify studentcentre@ul.ie within 24 hours of receipt of the purchase, to allow UL Student Life to register the fault with the courier service.
If a purchase arrives with a fault, which is not caused by transit, then the customer must notify studentcentre@ul.ie of the fault as soon as possible, including the order number, and a replacement or refund will be organised as quickly as possible.
Custom designed product such as Class Hoodies and Clubs & Societies Merchandise, which arrive with a fault, which is not caused by transit, will be dealt with on a case by case basis. The customer must notify studentcentre@ul.ie of the fault as soon as possible, including the order number.
